Labor Day is one of the biggest sales weekends of the year. It’s a great chance to score closeout deals on some of your favorite summer pieces or pick up some new fall/winter gear at reduced prices. There are so many sales happening this weekend it’s easy to get overwhelmed by all the options.
I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite sales to help you navigate the deals this weekend. Check out my pick of sales below along with some of my favorite pieces.
Banana Republic: 40% off; free 2-3 day shipping on orders $150+ (code: BRSHIP)
Banana Republic is one of my favorite stores for fit, but a lot of their stuff is more expensive than I’m willing to spend so I always wait to buy things on sale. This weekend they’re offering 40% off plus special daily deals, so you can find some nice things at good prices.
Relaxed Balloon-Sleeve Sweater
$89.50 (40% off applied at checkout)

This sweater is made from a wool/alpaca/recycled polyester blend, so it will be warm and soft. It’s meant to be worn with mid- or high-rise pants because of its short length. It stood out to me because I think it’s a good alternative to the N. Peal Pussy Galore-style Long Sleeve Mock Neck sweater that retails for $365.
Banana Republic Factory: 50-70% off everything; extra 20% off with code NEWLOOK
Like Banana Republic, the factory store is another one of my favorites. They sell a lot of the same styles as BR at a lower price point, and they always have sales. This weekend you can get some items for up to 90% off!
Plaid Sheath Dress
$49.99 (50% off, plus take an extra 20% off with code NEWLOOK)

I’m a big fan of plaid so this dress jumped out at me even though it isn’t inspired by anything specifically Bondian, but it does feel like something Moneypenny might wear.
Slim-Fit Glen Plaid Blazer and Trousers
$124.99 + $59.99 (50% off, plus take an extra 20% off with code NEWLOOK)

Again, I’m a BIG fan of plaid. I really like this navy plaid—I bought the same pattern suit in charcoal from BR Factory a couple of years ago and I love it. I also like this suit as a budget-friendly alternative for the Tom Ford Navy Prince of Wales suit from No Time To Die. When you apply the extra 20% off, you can get this whole suit for less than $150. I’m very seriously considering getting it for myself this weekend.
Brooks Brothers: 30-50% off select styles
Brooks Brothers is a classic brand where you can stock up on a lot of staples. If you’re feeling really flush with cash, you can get the coat Daniel Craig wears in Knives Out for around $1,700. Or you can stick to the deals on the sale styles.
Charles Tyrwhitt: 35% off everything plus free shipping with code SUMMEREND
Charles Tyrwhitt is another classic menswear brand, although it’s not as popular in the United States, which is a shame. I bought some shirts from them a couple of years ago and I was very impressed with their design and quality. This weekend they’re offering 35% off, as well as a number of 3-for-$99 bundle deals on their dress shirts, like these mini herringbone shirts.

Huckberry: up to 50% off
Huckberry is great because it’s sort of a clearing house for a bunch of brands so you shop all your favorites in one place. Check them out this weekend for up to 50% off thousands of items.
JC Penney: up to 50% off select styles plus additional discounts with code HOORAY3
I feel like JC Penney has a much worse reputation than it deserves. Yes, some of their clothing is terrible, but there are a lot of surprisingly nice things there, if you know where to look.
JF J.Ferrar 360 Stretch Slim Fit Suit Jacket and Pants
$66.50 + $33.74 (with code HOORAY3)

If you follow my me on Instagram, you’ve probably noticed that I have a few J.Ferrar suits in my wardrobe. And I stand by them. Whoever designs J.Ferrar suits pays attention to the trends but doesn’t lean into trends too much, so the suits don’t look outdated quickly. I’ve had my J.Ferrar suits for 4-7 years and they still look great. And this jacket has a ticket pocket! That’s a nice detail you don’t find in many budget-friendly suits.
J.Crew: 40% off and extra 70% off sale styles with code BYESUMMER
J. Crew is another good place to stock up on essentials, so this sale is great if you’re looking for some new sweaters to get you through the fall.
Short-Sleeve Silk-Blend Crewneck Sweater
$75 (40% off with code BYESUMMER)

I like this short-sleeve sweater as a budget-friendly alternative for the N.Peal 007 Round Neck T-shirt. It’s made from a blend of lyocell, acrylic, polyamide, and silk, which makes it lightweight and breathable.
J.Crew Factory: 50-80% off everything
If you can’t find what you’re looking for a J.Crew, head over to their factory store for more incredible deals: 50–80% off everything in the store. They’re clearancing out a lot of their summer inventory but you’ll have to act fast because sizes are limited.
Macy’s: 25–60% off and extra 20% off with code WKND
Because it’s a department store, combing through all the sales can quickly become overwhelming. It helps to go in with a specific goal in mind, like finding a new suit or sweater so you can narrow down your search.
Fossil Men’s Blue Diver Black Silicone Strap Watch 42mm

If you’re looking for a new diver watch, this classically designed number from Fossil is a great choice. Its black face is simple but elegant, and it is water resistant up to 100m which makes it both stylish and functional. If silicone straps aren’t your thing, swap it out for a nice NATO strap instead.
Mango: 30% off everything with code LAB20
I’m a big fan of both Mango and Mango Outlet, especially their Tailored line of dress clothes. This weekend, Mango is giving you 30% off everything not just summer clearance items, so it’s a good time to get some fall/winter essentials.
Tailored Wool-Blend Overcoat
$169.99 (take 30% off with code LAB20)

I really like this overcoat. It’s a classic wool-blend three-button overcoat with notch lapels and flap pockets—the same kind of coat we’ve seen Bond wear on numerous occasions. This particular style is available in five colors but the dark navy and grey are my favorites.
Mango Outlet: extra 20% off everything with code MNGO20
Like Mango, Mango Outlet is offering a discount on everything this weekend so you can use it to get some new fall/winter pieces. They also have up to 70% off their summer items.
Old Navy: up to 60% off plus additional daily deals
Old Navy is a great option for budget-friendly essentials. It’s owned by the same parent company as Banana Republic and uses very similar product designs with more of an emphasis on casual items. With up to 60% off everything, it’s a great option for stocking up for the fall.
Classic Glen Plaid Blazer for Women

This isn’t much of a sale but this blazer is a great option even without a steep discount. I really like the plaid pattern (shocking, I know) but I think the best part about this blazer is its cotton construction. Most budget-friendly blazers and suits are a polyester blend, but this blazer 86% cotton so it’ll breathe and it’s machine washable so you can save the dry cleaning.
Tie Bar: 20% off everything with code BYESUMMER
I’ve been a Tie Bar customer for years—if you follow me on Instagram you probably noticed I wear a lot of Tie Bar ties and accessories. They have great quality ties for budget-friendly price points. Over the years they’ve expanded the product line to include shirts, sweaters and pants. I’m a huge fan of their knit ties, which you can get right now for 20% off. Seriously, if you need or just want some new ties, tie bars or pocket squares, go stock up!

Whew! That’s quite a list and honestly, it only scratches the surface of all the deals out there this weekend. But I hope I’ve at least given you a place to start.
If you find something good this weekend, let me know in the comments below or send me a message over on Instagram. Happy shopping!
